Masozi and Rodwell Gausi
Malawi, Africa
"We are from Malawi. If you can check on a map of Africa, our home country is located to the South Eastern part of the continent. We are bordered by Mozambique, Tanzania and Zambia. Currently, Rodwell (my husband) is studying at US Army General and Staff College, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. He came in June and we joined him July end. We will be here up to mid - June, 2010.
We started watching Hope tv back home in Malawi. We were so glad when we found out it was one of the channels we could access from the free-to-air decoder we bought. Every time we turn it on, we feel the presence of God in our house. I (Masozi) always noticed that there was always a different feeling or atmosphere in the house when hope tv in turned on. A feeling which is not there when secular stations are turned on. When we got here in the US, we were very excited when we learnt that we could access Hope tv online. Our children, Eugene and Tiwonge like watching 34 degrees south. The programme takes them home.
How we got to like Hope Sabbath School
Understanding quarterly lessons used to be a very big challenge for me. This in turn made it difficult for me to help my husband who used to be Catholic before he joined the Adventist church to understand the lessons well. It was great joy for us when we found out that the lessons were being discussed on Hope Tv. It gave us an opportunity to learn a very good interactive approach taken in discussing the lesson. Thus, the approach helped us to understand the lessons better. We often take note of some points which we share with other members in our local church sabbath school class. In other words, 'hope sabbath school has helped our family to understand quarterly lessons better'. Since then the programme has become one of our 'must watch' programmes.
Keep up the good work. The Holy Spirit is using you to minister to many souls in different places.
May God continue blessing you"
